Jitu tha Jugganot: Press

Lyrical Assassin!
This is truly hip hop at it's best. I rank Jitu the Juganot up there with KRS1. I was absolutely blown away by this guys lyrical style and his freestyle is best in the business. I had the priviledge to see him on several occassions, and Jitu's lyrics were deadly. His lyrics are empowering to today's youth. If you like KRS1, Mos def, Talib, or Gangstarr, take it from me a TRUE hip hop fan, you will love this album!
Outstanding Hip-Hop CD
"Necessary Ingredients" by Jitu The Jugganot is a hip-hop album based around reality and street-smarts. The lyrics are original, well thought out, and exceptionally fluid. The beats are big, with old school synths and classic grooves. What makes this album stand out is the content and its message. It certainly speaks the unrefined truth and holds true to its concept, while displaying a refreshing degree of creativity. Plus, with 17 tracks, you certainly get a bang for your buck. Among our favorites is "Our Story," which flaunts an intense, rolling vocal performance and a banging beat. "Delivery" has a fat bass line and a quirky old-movie-detective vibe. "Chosen One" features female vocals and preaches the word of the man himself. Moreover, this CD is brought to a nice close with solid production. If you like Public Enemy, you'll like this one.

DJ WORD - ALBUM LISTENING PARTY REVIEW
Love this project! I rate the overall album a 9! I love the freestyles, the concepts, the beats. If his live show is as tight as the album, then he will create what Chicago has been missing! MozDefinite hip hop classic!
